I love these headlights so I will get the 3 bad out of the way quickly. Not plug and play with 2015 FR-S but fairly easy for a professional to splice the wires to set it up correctly. However I now have no daytime running lights on my auto setting... They need to include a user manual or at least a QR code to the file. I find this unacceptable and the main reason for taking the star off. They should set the default angle of the solenoid to zero when they send it to the customer, as the lights only illuminate the road 30 feet in front of you and then sharply cut off by default. Easy to adjust solenoid angle to 0 degrees after installation though. If doing yourself, start my matching the ride height from the lamp (25”) to the cutoff height against a wall on a graded flat surface. Should get you close to 0 degrees and you can adjust from there.
All that said, these lights are fantastic. They’re super bright and sexy. Best of all, they have designed them to block your headlight angle from oncoming traffic by angling it down from both headlights at exactly the center median line. This was a very pleasant surprise that should be advertised. For aftermarket headlights they have incredible fit, no gaps, no edges sticking out. Minor inconveniences aside, I love them. Recommend buying black side markers as they can be installed simultaneously, both requiring the front bumper taken off.
